Chili/Chili

Hoje para o almoço houve Chili...o nome faz-me sempre lembrar os filmes de cowboys...quem não se lembra de ver cowboys ,uma fogueira e uma panela com feijões e carne...se é Chili tem de estar Hot Hot...e este só com 2 malaguetas ficou maravilhoso ... a boca picante mas não em demasia...
Ingredientes
2 cebolas médias, picadas
2 dentes de alho picados
azeite ou banha
500 gr de carne de vaca picada
2 malaguetas(chili)
1 lata grande de tomate pelado
1 folha de louro
1 lata grande de feijão vermelho
pimento vermelho
salsa picada
coentros picados
sal
Confecção
Refogue as cebolas e os alhos no azeite até as cebolas ficarem macias e translúcidas. Junte a carne e frite durante 5 a 10 minutos até ficar castanha .Junte a salsa e os coentros picados .Corte o pimento em cubinhos e junte também ,as malaguetas aos bocados  junte tudo  à carne mexa bem . Adicione também o tomate cortado com o molho .Junte então o feijão com o molho, mexa,, tempere de sal , tape e deixe cozinhar em lume brando durante  meia hora ou até ficar ao seu gosto. Sirva com arroz branco e salada se gostar.

Today for lunch I made Chili ...the name always makes me remember the cowboys movies... who does not remember seeing cowboys, a fire and a pot of beans and meat ... if it´s Chili it´s got to be Hot Hot ... and  with only 2 chillies ..was wonderful ,the mouth spicy but not too much ...

Ingredients
2 medium onions, chopped
2 minced garlic
olive oil
500 g of minced beef
2 chillies (chili)
1 large can peeled tomatoes
1 leaf of laurel
1 large can red kidney beans
red pepper
chopped parsley
chopped coriander
salt

Making
Saute the onions and the garlic in olive oil until the onions are soft and translucent. Add the meat and fry for 5 to 10 minutes until brown.Add the parsley and the coriander then cut the peppers into cubes, add the chillies into pieces ,stir well. Also add the diced tomato with sauce. Then Add the beans to the sauce, stir, and season with salt, cover and cook on low heat for half an hour or until your taste. Serve with white rice and salad if you like.
